Privacy Policy
Revised · 13 July 2026
Jester's Jewels is a hand-picked collection of riddles, enigmas and brain-teasers for iPhone. Every day a new riddle steps into the court, waiting to be solved. This policy describes what the app touches and, more importantly, what it does not.
Your solved list, saved riddles, streak counter, and preferences are stored inside the app's local sandbox on your iPhone. Uninstalling the app removes them completely. There is no cloud backup and no sync to any external service.
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. Only anonymous events such as riddle_solved, category_opened, and favorite_added are recorded. No personal identifiers are attached.
On launch the app makes a single small remote configuration request to determine which UI arrangement to render. This request carries the standard user agent and the app version. It does not send any device identifier, personal information, or your riddle statistics.
The app is rated 4+ and is marketed to a broad audience. It does not knowingly collect any information from children under thirteen. There is no chat, no user-generated content, no online lobby.
The app includes the standard Firebase iOS SDK from Google, used for anonymous analytics and crash reporting only. No advertising network is integrated in this version. See Google's Firebase privacy policy for their data practices.
Uninstalling the app deletes the sandbox and every preference along with it. Reinstalling starts you back at zero.
Jester's Jewels is published by an independent developer. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
If this policy changes, the revised date at the top of the page will update, and substantive changes will be noted in a new version of the app on the App Store.
